Wegovy Coupon (2026): Every Legit Way to Pay Less for Semaglutide

There is exactly one official Wegovy coupon — Novo's $25/month savings card — and one real cash floor: $149/month for the pill, $199-$349 for pens. Everything else, from GoodRx to SingleCare to telehealth subscriptions, is repackaging those programs. Here is every legit route, ranked.

Wegovy Coupon (2026): Every Legit Way to Pay Less for Semaglutide article visual

Wegovy's list price hovers around $1,350 per month, and the average pharmacy retail price runs even higher — GoodRx pegs it at $1,646 and SingleCare lists $1,807 for a 30-count bottle of the new pill. Nobody should be paying anything close to those numbers in 2026, because Novo Nordisk now runs an official savings card, direct cash pricing as low as $149/month, and a multi-month subscription that undercuts every third-party "coupon" on the internet.

Direct answer: There is exactly one official Wegovy coupon — Novo Nordisk's savings offer, which cuts your copay to as little as $25 per month if you have commercial insurance that covers Wegovy, with a maximum benefit of $100 per month. If you have no coverage, skip the coupon sites and go straight to Novo's cash pricing: $149/month for the Wegovy pill (1.5 mg and 4 mg doses), $199/month for your first 2 pen fills (then $349/month), $399/month for the 7.2 mg HD pen, or $249-$329/month on a multi-month subscription through Ro, WeightWatchers, or LifeMD. Generic discount cards like SingleCare only shave the ~$1,807 retail price down to ~$1,010 — never the best deal.

This page surveys every route. For the full terms, enrollment walkthrough, and troubleshooting on the official program specifically, see our deep dive on the Wegovy savings card.

Wegovy Manufacturer Coupon: The Official Savings Offer

The only true manufacturer coupon is the Wegovy Savings Offer, run through NovoCare. The 2026 terms:

  • Pay as little as $25 per month with commercial insurance that covers Wegovy, where a "month" is defined as 1 box of 4 pens or 1 bottle of 30 tablets.
  • Maximum savings of $100 per month — if your copay is $400, the card brings it to $300, not $25. The "$25" headline only materializes when your copay is $125 or less.
  • Government beneficiaries are excluded from the $25 copay benefit: Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, VA, and DOD plans cannot run the card against their coverage. They can still buy at Novo's self-pay prices if the fill is processed outside their insurance.
  • Enrollment is free and instant: text SAVE to 83757 or complete the form on NovoCare.com.

That is the summary. Exact eligibility edge cases, renewal rules, the pill-vs-pen card differences, and what to do when the pharmacy rejects the card are covered in the dedicated Wegovy savings card guide.

Wegovy Coupon Without Insurance: Novo's Cash Prices Are the Real Floor

If you're uninsured — or your plan excludes weight-loss drugs, which is still the norm (see GLP-1 insurance coverage) — no coupon code beats Novo's direct self-pay pricing through NovoCare Pharmacy:

ProductDoseCash price (verified August 2026)
Wegovy pill1.5 mg$149/month
Wegovy pill4 mg$149/month through Aug 31, 2026, then $199
Wegovy pill9 mg, 25 mg$299/month
Wegovy pen0.25-2.4 mg$349/month ($199 intro for first 2 fills, new patients)
Wegovy HD pen7.2 mg$399/month

The $199 pen intro covers 2 monthly fills for patients new to the Wegovy Savings Offer or NovoCare Pharmacy, on the 0.25 mg and 0.5 mg starter doses. Novo's current price guide runs that window through December 31, 2026, and TrumpRx dates the identical offer 11/17/2025 to 12/31/2026 — an extension on the mid-2026 cutoff Novo printed earlier. Deadlines here have moved more than once, so screenshot the terms you filled under. NovoCare ships with free home delivery; the same cash prices are also loaded into GoodRx for retail pickup.

One line of the fine print changed in your favor: Novo's current eligibility FAQ says government-insured patients may use the program if they "self pay and process outside of their insurance," replacing terms that previously barred them even when paying cash. What government coverage still blocks is the $25 copay benefit — the price guide footnote reads "Government beneficiaries excluded" — plus any attempt to bill the spend back to that plan or count it toward a deductible. Medicare beneficiaries have a better number available anyway: $50/month through the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge, live since July 1, 2026.

If you want a lower monthly figure than $349 for the pen, compounded semaglutide through a licensed pharmacy is the main remaining lever, as we break down in cheapest GLP-1.

No insurance, or your plan excludes weight-loss drugs? Pallas Health — a 100% online visit reviewed by a US-licensed clinician, who prescribes only when it is clinically appropriate. FDA-approved options, or compounded medication prepared by US-licensed pharmacies. Ships free if you are eligible, with no membership or platform fees. (Partner link: we may earn a commission. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not generic versions of brand-name drugs.)

Wegovy Pill Coupon: The Tablet Changed the Math in 2026

The oral version of Wegovy — daily semaglutide tablets — was FDA-approved in December 2025 and hit pharmacies in January 2026 at a launch cash price of $149/month for the two lowest doses. There is no separate "Wegovy tablet coupon": the pill uses the same savings card ($25/month with commercial coverage, $100/month cap, one bottle of 30 tablets = one month) and the same NovoCare/GoodRx cash channels as the pen.

One deadline to act on: the 4 mg tablet's $149 price runs only through August 31, 2026. From September 1 that dose lists at $199/month in Novo's price guide, while 1.5 mg stays at $149. Nothing about the savings card changes on that date — only the self-pay price does. Three front doors reach the same pill price: NovoCare Pharmacy (free delivery), GoodRx at retail, and the TrumpRx.gov coupon below. Medicare patients skip all three: the tablet is covered under the $50/month Medicare GLP-1 Bridge.

What makes the pill the budget play is the gap at maintenance doses: the highest pill doses (9 mg and 25 mg) run $299/month cash versus $349/month for any pen dose — and the entry doses are $149 vs $349. Whether daily tablets match weekly injections clinically is a separate question; we compare absorption, dosing rules, and trial data in oral Wegovy vs injectable Wegovy.

GoodRx, SingleCare, and Costco: What Coupon Sites Actually Get You

GoodRx no longer functions as a normal discount card for Wegovy — it distributes Novo Nordisk's official cash prices at more than 70,000 retail pharmacies: $149/month for the 1.5 mg and 4 mg pills, $299 for the higher pill doses, and the $199-intro-then-$349 pen pricing for eligible self-pay patients. That makes GoodRx genuinely useful if you'd rather pick up at CVS or Walmart than wait for NovoCare's mail order. GoodRx lists this as 91% off its average retail price of $1,646.30.

SingleCare and similar cards negotiate conventional pharmacy discounts, and on a branded drug with no generic the result is weak: SingleCare's best listed Wegovy price is $1,010.50 (Kroger/Harris Teeter) against a $1,806.88 average retail. Their old niche — no government-insurance exclusion — has mostly closed: government-insured patients can now pay Novo's self-pay price outside their insurance, and Medicare Part D beneficiaries have the $50 Bridge. A $1,010 discount card is a last resort for someone shut out of both.

Costco doesn't run a Wegovy-specific program; its pharmacy fills Wegovy at competitive retail prices and accepts GoodRx's Novo cash pricing like other major chains. Sesame — Costco's telehealth partner — is named in Novo's press release as a coming-soon outlet for the Wegovy subscription program below.

For the cross-drug picture (Zepbound, Ozempic, Saxenda cards), see GLP-1 drug coupons and savings.

TrumpRx.gov: The Federal Coupon Site for Wegovy

The government's own drug-pricing site, TrumpRx.gov, now issues a Wegovy coupon. It is not a new discount — it is Novo's self-pay pricing again, reached through a third front door — but it is the one route that hands you a card you can print or screenshot before you walk into the pharmacy.

TrumpRx listingPriceAdvertised discountList price shown

How it works: pick the form and strength, state how many prior fills you've had, accept the terms, and the site reveals a pharmacy coupon — BIN, PCN, Group and Member ID — that you present at the counter. TrumpRx describes it as "widely supported at retail pharmacies that dispense" the product.

The terms are the same self-pay bargain, spelled out plainly: self-pay patients only, US resident (or US territory) aged 18+, valid prescription. If you carry any insurance, government or private, you agree not to seek reimbursement, not to count the spend toward a deductible or out-of-pocket maximum, and to tell your insurer you bought the medicine outside the plan if asked. That last clause is why a Medicare patient can legally use it — and why they should compare it against the $50 Bridge copay first.

Medicare.gov itself points beneficiaries who don't qualify for the Bridge to TrumpRx.gov to compare GLP-1 prices.

Wegovy Discount via Telehealth: The $249-$329 Subscription

On March 31, 2026, Novo launched the first multi-month subscription for FDA-approved Wegovy, sold through Ro, WeightWatchers, and LifeMD (Hims & Hers and Sesame announced as coming). Pricing for self-pay patients:

  • Pen (0.25-2.4 mg): $329/month on a 3-month plan, $299/month on 6 months, $249/month on 12 months — up to $1,200/year saved vs the $349 month-to-month rate.
  • Pill (9 mg and 25 mg): $289/month (3-month), $269/month (6-month), $249/month (12-month).

The trade-off is commitment. Sensible play: start month-to-month at $149-$349, confirm you tolerate your maintenance dose, then switch to the 12-month tier.

Stacking Rules: What Combines With What

  • One Novo program per fill. The savings card (insurance route) and the cash prices (NovoCare/GoodRx/subscription) are mutually exclusive — a fill is either billed through your commercial plan with the card or paid cash.
  • The savings card cannot stack with GoodRx, and GoodRx's Novo cash price cannot be combined with insurance.
  • Government plans block the copay side, not the cash side. Novo's eligibility FAQ now lets government-insured patients buy at self-pay prices as long as the fill is processed outside their insurance and never billed back to it.
  • Medicare's own program is live. The CMS Medicare GLP-1 Bridge started July 1, 2026 and runs through December 31, 2027: a $50 copay per month for eligible Part D beneficiaries, covering both the Wegovy pen and the tablet. It requires prior authorization but no enrollment, and it sits outside Part D — the deductible doesn't apply and the $50 doesn't count toward TrOOP. Eligibility screening is at Medicare.gov/glp1bridge; details in Medicare GLP-1 coverage.
  • HSA/FSA funds can pay any of these cash prices — that's the only legitimate "stack."

Wegovy Coupon Scams to Avoid

  • Paid "coupon" or "enrollment" sites. The real savings card is free. Anyone charging a fee to "unlock" a Wegovy coupon is monetizing a free form.
  • "Generic Wegovy." No generic semaglutide exists in the US. Compounded semaglutide is legal only from licensed pharmacies with a prescription — anything sold without one, or labeled "research use," is unregulated.
  • Free-trial offers and coupon codes on social media. Novo does not run free-trial promotions for Wegovy; these funnel to counterfeit or gray-market product.
  • Lookalike domains. Enroll only at wegovy.com or novocare.com — and if you're comparing Wegovy against its diabetes-label sibling first, start with Ozempic vs Wegovy and the full Wegovy guide.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a Wegovy manufacturer coupon for 2026? Yes — the Wegovy Savings Offer from Novo Nordisk. With commercial insurance that covers Wegovy you pay as little as $25/month, capped at $100/month in savings. Enroll free by texting SAVE to 83757 or at NovoCare.com.

How do I get Wegovy for $25 a month? You need commercial (private) insurance that covers Wegovy and a copay of $125 or less after the card's $100 maximum monthly benefit. Government plans don't qualify.

Is there a Wegovy coupon without insurance? Not a coupon — direct cash pricing. Uninsured patients pay $149/month for the 1.5 mg or 4 mg pill, $199/month for the first 2 pen fills (then $349), or $249-$329/month on a subscription.

How do I get a GoodRx coupon for Wegovy? Search Wegovy on goodrx.com, choose pen or pill and your dose, then show the coupon at the pharmacy counter. What you're presenting is Novo's own self-pay price rather than a negotiated GoodRx discount, so two rules follow: it can't be combined with insurance, and because it's a self-pay fill it won't count toward your deductible or out-of-pocket maximum. The identical price is available from NovoCare Pharmacy with free delivery, or as a printable coupon at TrumpRx.gov.

Is there a Wegovy pill coupon if I don't have insurance? Yes, in the way that matters: the tablet's self-pay price is $149/month at 1.5 mg and 4 mg — 4 mg only through August 31, 2026, then $199 — and $299/month at 9 mg and 25 mg. Reach it through NovoCare Pharmacy, GoodRx, or the TrumpRx.gov coupon; all three are the same Novo price. No insurance and no income test, just a valid prescription and US residency.

Does GoodRx work for Wegovy? Yes, but it's Novo's own cash price passed through to 70,000+ pharmacies — $149 for the lowest pill doses, $299 for higher pill doses, $199-then-$349 for pens. It's a pickup convenience, not an extra discount.

Is there a coupon for the Wegovy pill or tablets? The pill uses the same savings card as the pen ($25/month with commercial coverage) and has its own cash prices: $149/month at 1.5 mg and 4 mg, $299/month at 9 mg and 25 mg.

Can I use a Wegovy coupon with Medicare or Medicaid? Not the $25 copay benefit — that excludes government beneficiaries. You can, however, pay Novo's self-pay price ($149-$399) outside your insurance, which Novo's current terms explicitly permit. And Medicare Part D beneficiaries who meet the CMS criteria pay $50/month through the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge, live since July 1, 2026 and running through December 31, 2027.
